Review

Hoda Ghanem, MD, Intern (Internal Medicine) - University of California, Irvine "The biggest strengths of this book are the tables and images, the organization within the chapters and the key points at the end. The tables help give the student a visual image and help reinforce what was just read until they get to practice it on a patient." Sarah Harper, 4th year student, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine "I love how Blueprints has detail and nice summaries as well as questions. I think that Blueprints is the best resource for a concise review of Neurology." "The information in this book is very clear and concise and the pictures and tables are very useful. I would highly recommend this book for a student starting a neurology rotation. I also think that the book would be useful for IM." Mark Naftanel, 4th year student, Duke School of Medicine "I would recommend this book to a student on a neurology rotation as a good introduction to the field and to learn the language of neurology." "The illustrations in this book, as in other Blueprints, are very helpful in reinforcing the text material." "The best feature of the book is the introduction which includes how to do a good overall neurologic exam. Neurology is a field when much can be gathered from a good physical exam, so it's important that students know right away how important the neuro exam is. " Chris Reed, 4th year student, Medical College of Wisconsin "This book would have been a great help to me when I did my Neurology rotation." Christi Otten, 2nd year student Oklahoma University Health Science Center PA program "Content and detail is appropriate for 3rd and 4th year students. The reason I feel the Blueprints series works so well is because it keeps things succinct." "Simple and succinct ... This book is especially useful during rotations after you have already learned the topics in excruciating detail. This book is better than others about reminding you how to utilize what you have already learned in clinical practice." "I think the illustrations are great and are part of the reason I love this series so much. They helped me through my didactic year and are helping me in clinic too!" "I would recommend this book to any student on (and I have used it myself) on internal medicine rotations, neuro, any rotation it would be helpful." "Great series! I love the book, it's inexpensive, lightweight and I love the outlines of the chapters as well as the key points and illustrations."
