Synopsis
Maggie McKitrick loves everything about her new life in Gibson’s Run, Ohio—her charming bakery, her quirky customers, her distance from the past. Yes, she loves everything…except her new landlord. C.E. Hilbert tells a riveting story with the charm and sweetness that is expected in a love story. C.E. Hilbert also introduces suspense and uncertainty, sprinkled with fear as we see Maggie's past intrude on the present. As Maggie and Sean slowly head into a relationship, trust will be a real issue for Maggie. How much of the real Maggie can she reveal without destroying everything? C.E. Hilbert stirs up emotions and keeps you guessing about what is coming next. This well written story, well defined and detailed characters, and the ever evolving plot all lure you in and keep you there until the end.
