A recently published study stated that 100% of the seventy million dog owners in America talk to their dogs, and 97% think their dogs understand them. The question that has always interested dog owners is: 'Do they talk back?' BOTTLE-CAP SUNDAES is a hilarious, heartwarming story of three dachshunds: Mozart, Elvis, and Whoopi, that answers that question in their own words.Mozart is the first Canine-American in the history of the family. Being the only dog in the house is pretty heady stuff for young Mozart. Then the twins arrive. Elvis and Whoopi are black miniature dachshunds who immediately fall in love with Mozart. The feeling is not mutual. They soon become constant companions who relate their experiences and feelings on subject like kennels, sibling rivalry, house training, and being neutered. They use their irreverent sense of humor to speak up for dog rights, needle each other, and one-up their owner. Their mannerisms, habits, and dialogue demonstrate three very different personalities.BOTTLE-CAP SUNDAES will bring enjoyment to any reader with a sense of humor, and is sure to strike a familiar chord with anyone who has ever owned a dog.
