About the Author:

The authors are Dr. Barbara McFarland and Steve Wuest. Dr. McFarland, EdD, is a psychologist, author, trainer, media guest, and motivational speaker. Barbara has authored 7 other books and written many article on various women's issues. She was a pioneer in the area of women and addiction, was invited to present her clinical work at Harvard University Medical School, conducted corporate training classes as part of the Xavier Consulting Group, and presented keynote speeches at many women's health conferences. She has appeared on Oprah, The Today Show, National Public Radio as well as many others. Steve Wuest is a successful management consultant and executive coach. He spent almost 20years in the performance improvement practice of Deloitte & Touche and, as a partner he provided leadership to the practice in the areas of recruiting, personnel development, client service, business planning, and business development. He has counseled, guided, and inspired hundreds of women professionals and entrepreneurs during that time.
