Data for the three storybooks must be downloaded to a Poingo Reader from Poingo.com (see instructions that come with the product). The Poingo reading system is designed for children ages 3 and older.

Touching a Poingo Reader (it looks like an oversized pen) to the words and pictures on the storybook pages activates audio that narrates the story, enables songs and other sound effects, and triggers additional activities, including Look and Find.

The Sleeping Beauty storybook tells the classic story of Princess Aurora, three good fairies, a bad fairy, and a handsome prince. The Cinderella storybook relates the classic Disney tale of Cinderella, her evil stepmother and stepsisters, her fairy godmother, and her magical trip to the ball. The Magical World storybook enables children to follow the adventures of Disney Princess characters Snow White, Ariel, Mulan, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Aurora. All three storybooks conform to the specifications for toy safety of ASTM F963-07 and ASTM F963-08.
