Patricia V. Lunn holds an MA in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Colorado and a PhD in Hispanic Linguistics from Indiana University. She is Professor of Spanish at Michigan State University, where she has taught a wide range of linguistics courses and directed study abroad programs for undergraduate students and for in-service teachers. The fruits of her research on the grammar of Spanish include journal articles, textbooks for the intermediate and advanced levels, and workshops at professional conferences.
Janet DeCesaris holds an MA in Linguistics and an MA and a PhD in Hispanic Linguistics from Indiana University. She is Associate Professor of Translation and Interpreting at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, where she teaches translation and linguistics to undergraduate and graduate students. She has directed research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education on dictionaries and is currently working on an advanced learner's dictionary for Spanish.
