Synopsis
Spontaneous regression, the disappearance of cancer in the absence of medical treatment, sometimes occurs following an incidental infection. More than one hundred years ago, a young doctor began to treat cancer patients by intentionally infecting them with a virulent strain of bacteria in the hope that the body would cure the cancer as it cured the infection. About the Author
Donald H. MacAdam is a scientist, technology executive, the inventor of several patents and the author of four books. He is a currently a director of Xbiotech (Nasdaq:XBIT) and Hammond Power Solutions (TSE:HPS.A) and was formerly CEO of MBVax Bioscience, CEO of Tm Bioscience (TSE), president of CRS Robotics (TSE), CEO of Annulus Technical Industries, and CEO of L. A. Varah (TSE).
