About the Author:
Steve Emecz (Emm-etts) was born in London in 1971 and began writing in the depths of the Australian desert where he spent three months travelling and returned to his native London where he lives with his wife Sharon. When he’s not writing he likes to travel and work on behalf of his favourite charity, Leonard Cheshire, for whom he ran the New York Marathon in November 2001. A share of the proceeds of all Steve’s books, in print and e-books go to the charity. His cult leading character Max Jones crashed onto the scene in 1997 in Cut To The Chase and returns in Cuban Cut. Steve completed the screenplay for Cut To The Chase in 2000 for Scottish Film production company Somerfilm who have taken the option on Cuban Cut as well, and are currently seeking approximately $5 million in funding for the first film.
