Synopsis
From humble roots in Cajun Corners, Sheila Banet achieves her dream of becoming a country music superstar. To maintain the carefree image fans like, she keeps dark secrets about her past and present - including a husband, William, and a daughter, Kana. When events lead to William's death, his father, Great Pa, is the only witness, but the shock triggers a stroke that keeps him in a coma and speechless for four years. Sheila takes Kana on tour as her sister, but when Jim Granger, Sheila's manager, learns her secrets and blackmails her into deeper trouble, Kana's childhood friend, Joe Tarwater, heads an investigation.
