Synopsis
Not yet fourteen, Lendy Mickelvin has experienced a lifetime of tragedy and loss—first her parents, now her elder sister, who raised her. Lendy finds herself being whisked away to the small community of Mint Spring, Virginia, to make her home with relatives she has never known.
