About the Author
Laney Sammons was a classroom teacher and instructional coach for 21 years before becoming an author and educational consultant. She has written numerous books, including Guided Math: A Framework for Mathematics Instruction, Strategies for Implementing Guided Math, and Building Mathematical Comprehension: Using Literacy Strategies to Make Meaning, and she has trained teachers throughout the United States and Canada.
