About the Author:

The author is an Italian-Americannative of Fitchburg, Massachusetts.His first professional work was as a big band musician. He graduated from Boston University Law Schoolwith fellow classmate F. Lee Bailey. He taught law at the Institute of the Americasat Southern Methodist University and practiced law both on Wall Street and in Colombia.He is a contributing author of amulti-volume work on U.S. Corporate law, and has written numerous articles forthe Bureau of National Affairs, the Lawyer of the Americasand the Law Review of the Autonomous University of Mexico Law School. Mr. Perenzinstarted and ran Colombia'sonly English language newspaper in which he had a regular column. He currentlylives with his wife and children in Miami, Florida.
