William MacLeod Raine (1871-1954), was a British-born American novelist who wrote fictional adventure stories about the American Old West. During his prolific career he averaged nearly two western novels a year until his death. Among his most popular titles are Texas Ranger and Bucky O'Connor, both of which are available as World Classics in Large Print
