DON WHARTON is a Christian singer, songwriter, author, humorist, and plane crash survivor. He has travelled to all 50 states and several foreign countries sharing his faith with a wide variety of audiences. On August 13th, 1993, Don was one of seven musicians who survived a plane crash into the Bering Sea near Nome, Alaska while returning from a missionary/humanitarian aid trip to the Russian Far East. The group spent 35-70 minutes in near-freezing waters before being rescued by helicopter. Don has written over 250 songs and produced 20 CD s of his music. His first Christian fiction novel, CONVICTION (The Journey of a Lost Principled Man), begins a 5-book series on the life and legacy of main character, David Freeman. Don and his wife Leslie have five grown children and live in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
