Synopsis

When a child is born into a First Southern Baptist family and comes to realize she has the extraordinary gift of clairvoyance, conflict and secrecy must prevail. In the case of Melody Reid, noted psychic and media guest, the gifts held in silence through most of her life finally demanded public disclosure. A turning point in her life came when Melody found herself transported down a tunnel of white light culminating in the body of an injured Civil War soldier. He extracts a promise from her to tell his story and her own, one that reveals a lifetime of paranormal events. Lit Within: Lessons from the Light (The True Life Story of a Reluctant Natural, Psychic, Clairvoyant Medium) is Melody's captivating and often moving account of many instances when lives were saved, or changed forever, due to her psychic gifts. Whether a skeptic or a believer, her accounts are gripping and convincing for any reader.
