Review:
"Doug Farrell has penned a sly social commentary on the complexities of personal identity. There are lurid and even unsettling moments, but Farrell's experience as an improv comedian keeps things moving with a smile." -- Fantasy 100
"Highly Recommended. This book is something out of the ordinary, and it is written in a humorous way that will appeal to a wide audience." -- Midwest Book Review
"Farrell's debut is first-rate, a clever combination of the paranormal, urban fantasy and social commentary. The shallow but lovable heroine tells her tale from a prison cell in a snappy irreverent voice. A delightfully quirky cast of goblins, gnomes, faeries and half-breeds cuts the fashion industry to shreds. There are unresolved conflicts, but you'll have to buy book two for the answers. Rating: 4 Stars HOT." -- Romantic Times
"Rating: 5 Stars. GLAMOUR JOB is a fun, fast-paced, and very enjoyable story. It has many twists and turns, and since it is for adults, there are sex and violence, but in a light tone. I do not ever remember reading anything quite like this. The mixture of ghosts and goblins with sci-fi make this plausible and it holds well together. I highly recommend this book to any sci-fi and fantasy readers." -- BookReporter
