The journal of Knowledge globalization is an attempt to share knowledge across geographical and functional barriers. The journal is an innovative attempt to overcome the barriers of knowledge silos. Globalization and knowledge are interconnected. Knowledge globalization is the process of sharing knowledge across knowledge silos resulting from barriers of geographical locations and of functional disciplines. Article included in this issue of the journal reflect a cross section global knowledge. In the light of knowledge sharing the articles dwell on various issues such as, the cross-site knowledge sharing in MNCs, social and environmental performance of MNCs , virtual communities for knowledge globalization, Indian society’s expectations for responsible and ethical behavior from corporations, corporate social and environmental performance, and the analysis of emerging markets in developing countries. About the Author:

Dr. Nargis Ara Mahmud: graduated from MIT with specialization in Materials Science and Engineering. She has been connected with scientific research and knowledge creation and dissemination since early 1980’s. She is an active participant in corporate research activities and teaching. Nargis is the executive vice-president of the Institute of Knowledge Globalization and the managing editor of the Journal of Knowledge Globalization. Dr. Mawdudur Rahman is a professor of Accounting at Suffolk University, Boston. He is a leader in online business education. He has authored several books and published articles on online education, accounting, management, and information systems. He has taught around the world. He founded organizations contributing to capacity development in less developed countries. He is the president of Knowledge Globalization Institute, and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Knowledge Globalization.
