About the Author

Riess was born abroad and has spent his entire working career in international business. He has been a senior executive of multi-national corporations, including Ford Motor Company, International Paper Company, and Cinema International Corporation, the world's largest international motion picture company. Mr. Riess has founded and run three small entrepreneurial companies and has served on the boards of directors of many others. He presently heads an international consulting and training consortium. Mr. Riess has lived in 9 foreign countries over a period of 30 years and was responsible for operations in more than 40 countries. He is a consultant, lecturer, trainer, and adjunct professor of international business. He teaches classes in international affairs.
