About the Author
CATHERINE BLANCHE is an award-winning singer, dancer, comedienne and now author of her first book Divinity, The White Horse based on here true-life experiences. Crowned "Miss Montreal" at age 17, she was First Prize winner for Song Interpretation at the Paris Festival international de la Chanson in 1973. She pursued a singing career and recorded 2 albums and 9 singles for Columbia Records.Author/composer of words and music for Canadian award-winning film "Les deux pieds dans 'm¿m 'bottine", she participated in five major feature films in Quebec. She wrote two light comedies: Crie pas apr¿s moi! and Show Mode presented at her own summer theater in Rawdon, Quebec, and in the Dominican Republic. She made special guest appearances on several Canadian television shows.She moved to the United States (Florida) in the '80s and pursued a professional dancing career. In 1988, she was invited to join the Boston Flamenco Ballet Company and went on tour throughout the United States (Boston, Ohio, New York, Washington, etc.) She is currently in the process of writing her second book.
