Kid Muscle, the son of legendary wrestler King Muscle, rockets to Earth and finds an evil wrestling gang called the DMP tearing the place apart. The punks on the DMP are the weirdest, nastiest, most outlandishly powerful musclebound freaks the galaxy has ever known. Kid Muscle's only hope: form a team that's even wilder. The only possible result is earthshaking, bodyslamming, ultimate-powered action that sends our entire planet sailing over the top rope!
Battle 28 Has it come to this? Really? Does the fate of the earth--nay, the galaxy--rest on the shoulders of the phenomenally unreliable Kid Muscle? Alas, it would appear so. In their tag team match against the two evilest wrestlers in creation, Kid Muscle and Kevin Mask have finally learned to stop punching each other long enough to punch the bad guys. But their newfound friendship seems powerless against legendary baddie Shivano, who unveils moves beyond anything the Muscle League has ever imagined. With only Kid Muscle standing between us and annihilation, it's tempting to give up and let the forces of evil do what they may. But believe it or not, all is not lost! Faced with the most fearsome fighter of his dad's generation, Kid Muscle just might find the strength he needs from his old man... King Muscle!!

About the Author
Yudetamago is the pen name of artists Yoshinori Nakai and Takashi Shimada, who created the original hit KINNIKUMAN (MUSCLE MAN). KINNIKUMAN, which debuted in 1979, quickly grew into a massive slapstick wrestling epic and one of the most popular features in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. ULTIMATE MUSCLE (known in Japan as KINNIKUMAN II SEI) is Yudetamago's most recent creation.
