Deanna Caswell has been a nanny, lab tech, teacher, waitress, calculus tutor, counselor, and mountain guide. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry, a minor in Math, and an M.A. in Family Therapy. Her first book, First Ballet ,was published with Disney-Hyperion in October 2009.
Dan Andreasen has illustrated more than 25 picture books in the last 25 years. He is the illustrator of the Classic Starts series published by Sterling, and the New Little House series of books published by Harper. He lives in Medina, Ohio with his wife and three children.
