About the Author
Becky Cline joined The Walt Disney Company in 1989, and became a member of the staff of the Walt Disney Archives in 1993. Today, as Director of the Archives, Becky is charged with collecting and preserving all aspects of Disney history and making the material available to researchers from all areas of the Walt Disney Company as well as to historians, writers, documentarians and fans around the world. As an author, Becky has written and contributed to numerous articles on Disney history, as well as many Disney internal publications and websites. She is also a frequent speaker on behalf of The Walt Disney Company.
Steven Clark started his 21-year Disney career as a ride operator on theSubmarine Voyage and Tomorrowland Autopia at Disneyland. Through the yearshe worked in publicity at Disneyland, Walt Disney Feature Animation and DisneyChannel, and served as executive speechwriter at the ABC TelevisionNetwork. He was thefounder and head of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club; led Disney CorporateCreative Resources and the Walt Disney Archives; conceived the popularTreasures of the Walt Disney Archives museum exhibitions; and served on theHong Kong Disneyland Grand Opening Task Force. He coauthored Disney: The First 100 Years with Dave Smith, was a contributing writer to DisneyA to Z: The Official Encyclopedia, and wrote the thousands of triviaquestions for Mattel's best-selling Wonderful World of Disney Triviagames.
