About the Author
Dr. James Allert is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has over 25 years of teaching experience having taught more than 9,000 undergraduate students in his introductory computer science courses. His current research and recent publications address factors leading students of all majors to success in computer science.
