Review

I'm already getting enthusiastic about adding this book to our beginning C++ course. I am also happy to see that the code examples and solutions work without issues in Visual Studio 2008 and in Visual Studio 2008. (Peter van der Goes, Rose State College)

Chapters 1 and 2 are well written, the style is crisp, readable, and motivating. I enjoyed reading it and I find this to be a motivating no-nonsense approach to C++ in game programming. (Mike Michaelson, Palomar College)
