About the Author:
Jose Saban Ruiz, 53 anos, nacido en Cordoba, medico, Premio Extraordinario Fin de Carrera, profesor de Medicina, coordinador de un proyecto de Investigacion Clinica sobre Prevencion de la Enfermedad Coronaria, poeta, con cuatro obras publicadas (Directo al corazon, Un punado de sentimientos, Versos robados y Desvios incontrolados). Amante de la guitarra por encima de los estilos musicales, formado en escuelas de musica alternativa, y en gran parte autodidacta, amante del jazz y del blues y con un hobby muy especial: "bucear" desde hace mas de una decada en la nada para descifrar las claves de la armonia flamenca. Durante anos ha destrozado decenas de libros buscando unas simples lineas que pudieran "explicarle" los fundamentos de una musica tan compleja. Como miembro de la Casa de Andalucia de Soto del Real (Madrid), no pudo negarse a impartir este curso en el ano 2000. Ante la buena aceptacion del alumnado y la carencia de textos especificos sobre este tema, se ha decidido ocho anos despues a su actualizacion y edicion. Afronta el reto con la intencion de transmitir sus "apuntes" a un grupo heterogeneo de potenciales lectores con la ilusion de que ellos puedan resolver una parte de sus interrogantes generando a partir de su resolucion nuevas e inquietantes dudas.
