Author of the novel, 'Paper Trees' (1999, Caitlin Press), Roy Sinclair was born in Creston, B.C. and schooled in the marvellous town of Penny, B.C. He now lives in the extreme southeastern corner of the province on land owned by his family since about 1887. Raised in the woods he has lived by the woods having been in the Forest Industry all his working life. Like many others of pioneer families he can count Aboriginal (Cree and Kootenay), Scottish, English and French among his ancestors.
