About Shell Education
Rachelle Cracchiolo started the company with a friend and fellow teacher. Both were eager to share their ideas and passion for education with other classroom leaders. Barbara Houtz, M.Ed., is Director of Outreach for the Pennsylvania State University Eberly College of Science. She also teaches a course on Scientists Teaching Science for graduate and post-graduate science researchers. Barbara develops and presents professional development workshops on teaching science through inquiry, training both elementary and secondary teachers nationwide.
