Patricia A. Peterson earned a B.S. degree from BYU and a Masters of Education, Culture and Society, from the University of Utah. She has taught English at Sylvan Learning Center, Salt Lake Community College, and currently teaches at Butler Middle School. Her story, "Stacking Stones," was published in the Friend. Patricia was raised in Rifle and Uravan, Colorado, and she is married to Richard G. Cook. They have 7 children and 15 grandchildren. Janet Peterson received her bachelor's and master's degrees in English from BYU. She has written extensively for Church magazines and co-authored Elect Ladies: Presidents of the Relief Society, Keepers of the Flame: Presidents of the Young Women, and The Children's Friends: Primary Presidents and Their Lives of Service. She has also published Remedies for the "I Don't Cook" Syndrome and Family Dinners: Easy Ways to Feed Your Kids and Get Them Talking at the Table. She and her husband, Larry, are the parents of 6 children and 9 grandchildren. Barbara Miller, always involved in writing and drawing, worked as an editor, writer and illustrator at Latter-day Woman Magazine. Two of her paintings were featured in advertising art for the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and she's published The Golden Verses and Jesse's Highway. She and her husband, Ron, are the parents of seven children and lots of grandchildren. James L. Kimball holds a B.S. degree in history from the University of Utah and an M.A. in history from the University of Iowa. He taught seminary and institute for 10 years, then served as supervisor of the Archives Search Room (ASR) for the Historical Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jim has published articles on Mormon history, particularly on the Nauvoo Charter. He and his wife, Joan, have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
