About the Author:
Bill Weir took a bicycle ride across the United States with Bikecentennial in 1976 and was inspired to cycle around the world. He got started writing guidebooks on that trip in 1979 by sending suggestions to the author of the South Pacific Handbook while island hopping there. He lives in Flagstaff, AZ when not on his bike.
