The newspaper photograph was an old one, taken during the Second World War. It was an innocent snapshot of a handsome young man in his new lieutenant's uniform. The accompanying article told of his heroism as a British agent within the French Resistance. About the Author:
The author was a scientist, RAF radar expert in WW2, successful businessman, accomplished pianist, championship golfer, restorer of veteran cars, wine expert and last, but by no means least, loving husband. Now, late in life, Gray Laidlaw brings his rich experiences to the enjoyment of writing novels.
