His clients include Xerox, Cendant Financial, Microsoft, American Airlines, Union Pacific, Raima, Sabre, and Nielsen Market Research. Michelsen holds numerous patents in such areas as service-oriented architectures, object-oriented database management systems, middleware, model-driven architectures, and cloud.
