About the Author

Diane Dettmann taught in the Saint Paul Public Schools and facilitated staff development in the area of literacy instruction. She's written articles for the national organization,"Women's Voices for Change" and the "Open to Hope," a national grief foundation in Palo Alto, CA. Her grief memoir, Twenty-Eight Snow Angels, is endorsed by Dr. Gloria Horsley founder of "Open to Hope Foundation" and Marty Tousley, a nationally certified grief counselor with "Hospice of the Valley" in Phoenix, AZ. Diane has shared her writing at local author events, writer's seminars and international conferences in Finland and Canada. She recently completed her award-winning historical fiction WWII series, Courageous Footsteps.
