Synopsis
Ben, this one's not splitting; it may hit Tonganoxie... For more than a hundred and fifty years the mystery prevailed. The strange recurring weather phenomena went unexplained until Professor Benjamin Storm appeared on the scene. The pressure inflected on him by this strange weather anomaly, was complicated by an old Native American storm legend. This and the emotional strain of his already shattered personal life let him no choice but to pursue the truth no matter the cost. Now, his health, his professional reputation, and his very life hung in the balance. In the beginning, the professor sets out to solve a weather computer issue. However he soon learns that the situation is more complex than he imagined. The weather computer is at odds with the real weather. It prefers to conform to the Tonganoxie Split storm legend rather than display real weather. In our hero's attempt to solve the mystery, we meet a lot of interesting people along the way. Most, we discover are trying to distract him from his obsession to solve the Tonganoxie Split storm legend.
