Loneliness is a common emotion in both children and adults. "Some Days Are Lonely" is a poetic and sophisticated story that addresses a child's occasional feelings of loneliness with beautiful illustrations and an evocative narrative. As the main character progresses through the story, he experiences loneliness like stormy weather. By the end of the story, the storm has cleared and a rainbow comes out, signifying the transience of uncomfortable or unwelcome emotions. Creative activities for kids and a "Note to Parents" are included.
