About the Author
Paul "Vinnie" Venturella was born in Pittsburgh, PA, May 20, 1967; to his Mom Joyce and his Dad Frank. He graduated Woodsville High School in Woodsville, NH then entered the United States Air Force in July 1985. His twin brother Frank and his sister Jill also served in the Air Force. He entered the Combat Control career field and has been assigned to units in Washington; England and North Carolina. He has traveled all over the world conducting Special Operations missions and training. Vinnie had a very successful 21+ year career in the Air Force. He served mostly in Special Operations units and his most treasured aspect of his service was the people he served with and made life-long friendships with. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. He received a Baccalaureate degree from Campbell University in May 2000 in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting; graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received a phenomenal amount of training and education while in the Air Force including all levels of Enlisted Professional Military Education. He successfully completed the Certified Financial Planning Certification and Professional Education Program from the College for Financial Planning in September 2005. He subsequently passed the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards national examination in March 2006 and has only to complete experience requirements to receive the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER¿ designation. He is active throughout his local and military communities including the Order of Sons of Italy Prosdocimi Lodge; Cape Fear Toastmasters; Cumberland County Business Council (CCBC); the CCBC Military Affairs Council; and his church Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Vinnie is currently in the financial services industry in North Carolina and can be reached at (910) 364-6419. He has been married to his wife Tammie since 1992 and they have one daughter, Meaghan.
