 "The Diary of a Northern Moon" was a story that I knew I would eventually write because for years I had slices of a contemporary novel tucked away in a binder.  These slices were actually scenes I had witnessed and then coupled with pieces of old New York Adirondack folklore told to me by an elderly cousin. The research I began three decades ago sprouted Manhattan Seeds of the Big Apple my first novel.Originally, I wanted to write one great American novel, but one binder full of notes eventually became six.  In the end the slices, the lore, and family research for a couple dozen Colonial families as well as the life I have lived became three novels which has grown into the Waldron Series.
