About the Author:

Melinda Lewis was a school teacher in Texas for over twenty years. During that time, she also worked as a school librarian where she noticed the need for books dealing with the problem of bullying. After she was given Bob, who had been rescued from an abusive situation, she noticed how his behavior was similar to children she had taught who had faced bullying.
