About the Author

Ted Jones has worked in Canadian television for 30 years, first as weather personality, and then as director and production manager. Over the years he has gained expertise in shooting, editing, and camera operation, which has included work as a camera operator for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

Chris Patmore is a London-based writer specializing in creative technology. He runs a Web site for animators and comic book artists, and has worked internationally as a graphic designer and photographer. He began filmmaking in the late '70s, shooting Super-8 surfing films in Australia. As a self-confessed technophile, he has embraced the latest digital technology as the ideal way to tell stories with moving images.
