Synopsis
This is a book that every child (and every parent) can relate to. The four children in Sometimes I'm a…Monster! demonstrate the timeless lesson that no child is perfect. In these warmly illustrated pages, the children all have moments when they are little monsters who play wild games, push and shove, and simply drive the grown-ups mad. About the Author
Gillian Shields (Author) Gillian Shields is the author of several picture books for children including Ben and Gran and the Whole, Wide, Wonderful World illustrated by Katherine McEwen and published by Macmillan in 2004. Georgie Birkett (Illustrator) Georgie Birkett completed her degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at the University of Brighton in 1996. She has since illustrated many books, in various styles, for the educational and young fiction markets, as well as picture books and pre-school novelty books. In 2008 she won the Best Baby Book 2008 in the Booktrust Early Years Awards for Is This My Nose? (Red Fox). Georgie Birkett was born in Kent. She is the author and illustrator of many picture books, and has been published all over the world. She now lives in Lewes, East Sussex.
