A story of hope, love and inspiration: Patrick K Lombule revisits his mother's words of wisdom in order to reinvigorate all our lives in the modern world. At the age of nineteen Patrick K Lombule found himself in surgery at a local hospital in Norway. The emergency appendectomy was a frightening experience and he was terrified that he wouldn't see his family again. When Patrick awoke after his operation, one thought preoccupied him: that whilst he had been lucky enough to recover, on that very day other patients had not been as fortunate and died at the hospital. Struck for the first time by profound awareness of his own mortality and the cruel, fleeting nature of life, Patrick was overwhelmed with a fervent desire to cherish the family from whom he had so nearly been taken, and to live every day of the rest of his life to the fullest. The Heart Of A Mother is a wonderful, earnest account of how a young man found comfort and inspiration in the teachings of his mother. Her simple pearls of wisdom enabled him to succeed, to be happy and to resist temptation. His teenage illness brought the achievements of his mother sharply into focus, and he felt compelled to offer her sage advice to others, through his first book, making her guidance available to those who perhaps have lacked such a vibrant moral compass in their own lives. The Heart Of A Mother provides a poignant reminder of what is truly important in life, and the best course to take in order to attain fulfillment and joy. It transcends cultures and races with its universal message of hope, and has a particular charm thanks to the unique voice of its twenty year old author.

Book Description AUTHORHOUSE, United States, 2009. Paperback. Condition: New. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****. In a world where fathers have abandoned their duties as our role models; in a word where our fathers spend less or no time at all with us the youths of today, the one thing that keeps us moving is the love that our mothers have for us. However, we often wonder what we could do to let our mothers know that we love, and what could be a better way than by sharing with the world at large the life lessons that our mothers taught us. This book appreciates every single work that mothers do for their kids. We mourn with those that face miscarriages, we mourn and weep with those that have lost their mothers and we pity those that abort the perfect gift of an unborn child. If the world should ever lose everything, please let it never lose the love of our mothers, because that is the one thing that keeps us moving. This book is for men and the women who love them, and that includes you. It reminds our fathers of their duties, children of their dreams and mothers of how special they are.
