About the Author

Allen G Rutter, was born in Grand Junction Co. and grew up in the state of Oregon, before moving to the Midwest in 1974. After living in Missouri and Kansas Allen moved to NW Ohio where he became an ordained minister. He served in parish ministry for nearly 20 years before becoming the Executive Director of an outpatient mental health and mediation agency. He became interested in writing children’s books after the birth of his two daughters. He has written many children’s lessons and dramas designed for application in a congregational setting. Allen Rutter has also edited a children’s book titled, “Special Friends.” “Grandpa’s Getting Younger Every Day!,” grew out of his personal commitment to be an active and creative grandparent and is his second published children’s book.
