About the Author

Rene Eduardo Rojas graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and became a high school mathematics teacher. After earning a degree from that school’s engineering program in computer science, he shifted his career to programmer and systems analyst. In 1986, Rojas moved to Australia, where he was a senior systems analyst in geological and graphical applications. His 1995 move to Hong Kong heralded his work in an international insurance development program and a new role as Test Manager. Following this experience, the author has been engaged in international projects throughout Asia, the United States, South Africa, Europe, and Australia. Rojas is now a test consultant with a keen interest in, and knowledge of, the latest testing technologies. His pragmatic, managerial, and methodological approaches aim to explore, understand, and use the valuable connection between human behavior, politics, and the software testing activities.
