Life of being raised in the country, living off the land, raising livestock, gardening and time in the fields. We didn't have much and didn't know it either. Chopping and picking cotton. Hauling hay, killing hogs and cows....cooking lard, drawing water from a well, washing clothes by hand and hanging on the clothesline and using the outhouse. About the Author
Born in Charleston, TN. in my grandparent's home. I grew up in Rosemark, population 300, and attended Rosemark Grammar and graduated from Bolton High in 1958. I obtained my B. S. degree from Union University in Jackson, Tn., and my M. S. from U-T Martin. "I wouldn't take a million dollars for my country experiences and memories."
