About the Author
Patti Polk has been collecting rocks for more than 20 years. A skilled lapidary artist, Polk contributes articles to gem and mineral club publications such as Rock & Gem magazine and frequently acts as a trail guide for visitors to the Sedona, Arizona, area. Polk maintains two websites: www.AGATEGRRRL.com and www.Tempemonon.com. Her jewelry website utilizes many of her personally collected, cut, and polished cabochons.
