Synopsis
Knowledge and Understanding of the World introduces this area of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Teaching knowledge and understanding of the world to children aged between 0-5 years is introduced within the context of the EYFS. About the Authors
Linda Cooper is Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at Portsmouth University, UK.
Jane Johnston is Reader in Education at Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln, UK.
Richard Woolley is Deputy Head of the Institute of Education at the University of Worcester, UK, where from 2011 – 2017 he served as Head of Centre for Education and Inclusion. He is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Lindy Nahmad-Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education at Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln, UK.
