Synopsis

Written for beginners, this book provides an introduction to programming in MATLAB and simulation of physical systems. The book begins with scalar values and gradually works up to vectors and matrices. Topics covered include variables and values, scripts, loops, ordinary differential equations, vectors, and functions. MATLAB is used throughout the book to solve many end-of-chapter exercises. Most books that use MATLAB are aimed at readers who know how to program. This book is for people who have never programmed before. *** * Published under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License.
