About the Author
Maya Rae Moore, born September 17, 1998 resides in Silver Spring, MD with her 12 year old brother and parents. Maya is a highly decorated, competitive gymnast whose vivid imagination and love of words inspired her to write short stories and plays for children. Maya wrote A Sorry Savior on the first day of summer break in 2008 at the age of 9. Maya's "old soul" wisdom sheds light on raw emotion and the need for forgiveness in our lives. Maya has written other short stories and poems as well and has been published in the Northwest Current (a local newspaper in Washington, DC).
