The book presents values as the foundation of leadership, and describes how six values (Perseverance, Patriotism, Teamwork, Excellence, Foster People Development, and Innovation) integrate a leadership framework that help leaders: to enhance their influence towards personal, organizational, and national transformational emergence; to increase their effectiveness, and to facilitate their insertion into the rapid and changing global context. It also explores diverse values' perspectives such as: personal vs. corporate values, values as systems for transformation, personal preferences and levels of consciousness, and values changeability.

About the Author

Dr. Sampedro's early experience in the industrial development, real state, and banking industries has been capitalized along with his passion to advance personal and organizational leadership. He has taught, delivered conferences, trained, and consulted in leadership and management related topics for diverse audiences throughout the Americas including USA, UK, Trinidad, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. His training has reached supervisory, managerial, and executive levels in a variety of organizations including government institutions, non-for-profit and ministry organizations, and global corporations. His undergraduate and graduate teaching assignments have included Leadership, International Trade, International Marketing Research, and Organizational Behavior at Regent University (Virginia, USA), MACU (Oklahoma, USA), and Universidad de Carabobo (Valencia, Venezuela). He also researches and writes for diverse specialized publications. Dr. Sampedro is founding partner of "Global Leadership Consulting" (glcconsulting.com.ve).
