About the Author:

John A. Garc�a is Research Professor at the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research and Faculty Associate at the Center for Political Studies (Institute for Social Research) at the University of Michigan. He has published numerous journal articles and books and is the coauthor of Latino Lives in America.
