About the Author
George Facer is Chair of Examiners and was previously Head of Science and Chemistry at Sherborne School. He has written numerous books including two textbooks for Edexcel Chemistry, also published by Philip Allan Updates.

Frequently didn't preform as well as hoped in my practical skills, especially in AS. Getting this book made me realise how simple they are and the marking criteria for them. It lays out all the experiments you come across in AS and A2 and shows ways of answering them. It also has useful diagrams. What more could you need in a lab skills guide? -- Amazon reviews
